“I’ve got a theory that if you give 100% all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.” This quote by Larry Bird, seen in Ms. MC’s classroom, is senior Lindsay Mingolla’s life lesson takeaway from her four years at CCHS.

Mingolla moved to Concord right before her freshman year and has spent all four years at CCHS, where she “[has] enjoyed the school size, class size, and peers [she has] met here.” She says that “Concord, Carlisle, and the CCHS community were warm and welcoming and made the transition to a new town as simple as possible.”

Mingolla says that like many of her senior peers, “it is strange to think that this is the end of my time at CCHS” and to “[see] the board count down the number of school days left.” She describes feeling like “just yesterday, we were the incoming 9th graders.” Mingolla views the end of her journey at CCHS optimistically, saying, “I can’t wait to see the amazing things that my classmates do in the coming years!”

During her time at CCHS, Mingolla has been a member of the CCHS Swim and Dive team, which was a “highlight of [her] time” at CCHS. Mingolla additionally pursued her passions in French and community service by participating in the French Club and Thinker’s Agenda Club.

Mingolla recommends that students should get involved with school events such as Kicks for Cancer, noting that it became one of her “favorite annual traditions.” She advises underclassmen to “make new friends, put [themselves] out there, and explore new activities and passions.” Despite “all of the cliches,” she suggests that students at CCHS seek to “truly make the most of [the high school] experience” so that they can “look back with no regrets.”

Mingolla wants to give a shout-out to her parents for supporting her throughout her years at CCHS. She plans to study Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University. We congratulate Lindsay on her achievements and we wish her the best of luck for the future!
